In 2015, the International Membrane and Water Treatment Technology and Equipment Exhibition will be merged with the WaterEx Beijing Water Exhibition. It will be held in Beijing National Convention Center (No. 7 Tianchen East Road, north of the Water Cube) from 14 to 16 October.
At the exhibition, Edgecross exhibited high-level membrane contactors/degassing membranes: hollow fiber arrays woven from membrane filaments, and intermediate baffle structures. The main applications of membrane contactors/degassing membranes are as follows:
1. Deoxygenation in water
Boiler feed water deoxidizer replaces traditional thermal deoxidizer.
Deoxygenation of oilfield reinjection water;
Deoxygenation of process water in electronics, chemical industry, biopharmaceuticals, medical treatment, energy and other industries.
2. Removal of carbon dioxide from water
Removal of carbon dioxide from influent water by EDI/CDI;
The front end of ion exchange removes carbon dioxide.
3. Removal of ammonia nitrogen (NH4 + or NH3) from wastewater
No matter how high the influent ammonia nitrogen content is, the effluent ammonia nitrogen can be less than 5 mg/L.
Energy consumption is less than 10% of that of stripping method!
