1. Ammonia removal from hydrometallurgical wastewater
The industries covered by this application include non-ferrous metallurgy, new materials (lithium batteries, microelectronics, etc.), rare earth, PCB, catalysts, inorganic chemical industry, desulfurization wastewater, etc.
Water quality characteristics: ammonia nitrogen content in raw water is different (50-10 000 ppm), COD content is very low (generally only 30-50 ppm), PH value is widely distributed (1-13), and suspended solids are few.
Applicability of membrane ammonia removal: excellentBah, the economy is very good. Compared with the traditional ammonia distillation process, in some cases, the investment is only 15% of the ammonia distillation process, and the operation cost is only 20% of the ammonia distillation process. Especially when the water volume is less than 5 t/h or the imported ammonia nitrogen is less than 3 000 ppm, the economic customers of membrane ammonia removal can not resist.

Because of the low amount of alkali and no heating, the economy of membrane ammonia removal is very good.

Effectiveness needs assessment. The traditional process is ammonia evaporation. Membrane life is affected by other pollutants in raw water. The pretreatment of membrane ammonia removal is more stringent, and the economy of membrane ammonia removal needs to be evaluated. Ultrafiltration is generally used as pretreatment. If the membrane life can reach 2 years, the economy will be very good.Balance of materials is complex. Coal chemical wastewater treatment process is complex, wastewater pollutants, long treatment process. How to replace ammonia evaporation by membrane deamination, how to treat the mother liquor of ammonium salt produced, and how to link up with other processes need to be reconsidered in plant design. Membrane ammonia removal adaptability: to be evaluated
The economy needs to be evaluated. At present, in practical engineering cases, Ejik membrane can still maintain a lasting hydrophobicity and removal effect in 80,000 ppm biochemical wastewater. However, it does not mean that Ejik membrane can tolerate COD indefinitely. We have refused to allow 1600 ppm of raw water to enter the membrane. Therefore, the specific evaluation results of Ejik engineers are needed to determine whether the membrane can be injected or not.
